The formal business of the Town Council is conducted at council and committee meetings. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings. There are opportunities for the public to speak at them as long as it relates to an item of business on the agenda.
At a typical council meeting, you may hear presentations from local organisations about their plans for the future; proposals by the Town Council for community projects and events; and information about the Town Council’s finances and governance arrangements.
